Born in Bergamo in 1964. After graduating from art school, he attended the Design Polytechnic in Milan, obtaining a diploma in industrial design in 1986.
From 1987 to 1997 he worked at the studio of architect Antonio Citterio. In 1997 he opened his own studio in Milan, continuing his activity in the field of design and interior architecture.
Since 2004, he has been working with Francesca Simen with whom he works on interior design projects in the residential and commercial fields. Francesca Simen and Stefano Gallizioli opened a studio in Dublin in 2006, which complements the work of the Milan studio. In 2008 they completed the interior design for the new office building of the Irish group IAWS/Cuisine de France in Dublin. Between 2008 and 2010 they realised two villas on the private island of Mustique. In 2012 they completed the interior design and furnishing for the Club House and common areas of the Tatoi Tennis Club in Athens .
Renovations are currently underway in Milan and a residential and hotel project in Muravera, Sardinia.
