Grey Stone | OPP11

Technically, it is a gray limestone marble with a uniform, compact appearance.
Its colors derive mainly from the presence of elements such as carbon and graphite.

Depending on the quarry from which it is extracted, the basic color of Grey Stone marble can vary from taupe to charcoal gray, while the subtle white veins and some slate-colored veins remain constant, lending brightness and movement to the whole.

Grey Stone marble may have small surface imperfections that cannot be considered a defect in any way, but are characteristic of this marble and, despite resin treatments, in some cases even imperceptible to the touch, remain slightly open due to their earthiness.

This marble is very porous and is composed of different components that absorb polish in different ways.
The result is an uneven polished effect.

We recommend ordering the polyester treatment to avoid this effect.
In fact, upon request, marble countertops can be coated with the polyester treatment, which consists of a varnishing process similar to that to which wooden furniture is subjected, covering any microholes, sealing, filling, thus making the marble uniform and smooth, even in the varnish.
