Nero Marquinia, a variety of marble of Spanish origin, is one of the most popular natural stones in the world. As the name itself suggests, Nero Marquinia is a black marble, speckled with small white fossil residues and crossed by more evident white veins.
This very elegant stone is used as a reference black marble in projects all over the world. As an architectural stone, it has excellent technical characteristics and for this reason it is used for any type of application, from floors and walls to the most sophisticated furnishing accessories.
Marquinia Black is a metamorfic rock consisting mainly in calcium carbonate, with a fine grane and an intense and very shiny black colour. It can have some veins running slightly obliquely and characterized by some white mottles with different
size and intensity.
