Port Laurent | OPP17

Port Laurent is a Moroccan precious marble.

It is characterized by the dark black background colour, dominated by white-golden veins which is particularly enhanced by the glossy finish.

In fact, thanks to the crystalline structure of this marble, the polishing process gives the slabs an extraordinary shine.

This marble is very porous and it is made of different components which absorb the polishing in different ways.The result is a polished effect that is not homogeneous.

We suggest to order the polyester treatment to avoid this effect.
In fact, on demand, marble tops can be coated with polyester treatment, which consists in a painting process similar to the process that wooden furniture is submitted to, covering
any possible micro hole, sealing, filling, thus making the marble uniform and smooth, also in the painting.
